Each Pregnancy Is Different
by Zombie Mom August 1st, 2010 in During and After Pregnancy, Mommy thoughtsWhile it’s true that each woman experiences pregnancy differently, it’s also true that a woman can experience each of her pregnancies differently. Which I am fully discovering now during my second pregnancy.
I am just over thirteen weeks pregnant, and still experiencing the fatigue that plagues many women during the first trimester. I remember this tiredness passing before I reached my second trimester last time around. This time, though, I’ve had a lot of difficultly sleeping at night, which could be the cause. I slept like a baby during my first pregnancy. Even towards the end when I had to get up 5 times a night to use the rest room, I still had no troubles falling back to sleep each time. This time if the dog sneezes, I’m up for three hours.
I’m also craving terribly fattening food this time around. During my first pregnancy I craved apples, corn and pinto beans. This pregnancy I’ve been craving hamburgers, pizza and pretzels. I’ve already gained 5 lbs! I’m also showing already which is apparently normal for your second pregnancy.
What differences did you experience during your pregnancies?
